Twilight Party Ideas Right From the Twilight Novels!

Since the release of the Twilight Saga many Twilighters have had some great Twilight Party Ideas. With the release of the movie this past November, and when the DVD is released, Twilight parties are going to be hot this year!

Twilight party decorating ideas can be taken from the Twilight Novel, or any of the other books in the Saga. If you are planning a vampire party this year, the perfect theme will be based on the 4 book Saga by Stephanie Meyer? This love story has sold over 40 million copies in over 37 countries.

You can start to think about your Twilight party ideas right now. You can have a movie viewing when the DVD comes out or you can have a different kind of Vampire Halloween Party. Life size stand ups of Bella and Edward will WOW everyone when they walk into your party. Imagine the surprise on their faces when they are greeted by Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. What a perfect beginning to your decorating. You can also find cut outs of James, Laurent and Victoria...those naughty, blood sucking, nomadic Vampires we met at the baseball game.

What do you mean Vegetarian Vampires?

Yes, the Cullen's are vegetarians...but what that means in vampire lingo is they drink the blood of animals, not humans. Your Halloween or Twilight party can be planned with a twist...Vampires without fangs. So that means no bloody Count Dracula Vampire party this year. You can go sleek and stylish rather than bloody and scary, like the Vampire parties we are all familiar with. The Cullen's are a rather sophisticated family and Alice, the family party planner, decorates with lots of style and taste. Of course, you could host a Halloween party where the old meets the new...and have fanged, blood drinking vamps along side the vegetarian Cullen Clan...just like in Breaking Dawn.

A great Vampire costume party prop is FX lenses. You know, those colored contact lenses that change your eye color. The Cullen's eyes, and the rest of the Vampires in the series, change. When they are hungry, or thirsting for blood, their eyes are black. When they have hunted and their thirst is somewhat satisfied, their eyes are golden or topaz. A newborn Vampire or a human blood drinker (like the Volturi) will have red eyes. This gives you several options as to what color lenses you will get. These special effect lenses look great...some of them are almost hypnotic! Homemade Costumes will be easy to put together if you decide to "become" Edward or Bella. They wear what kids everywhere wear. Edward will require a little makeup work. His skin is very pale and his eyes are black or light brown. His skin also sparkles in the sun...so you might want to use that look.

A Twilight Party Need Twinkle Lights

Don't I have Twinkle Lights? You might have some of the party supplies you need for your Twilight party ideas...Make sure you check your holiday decorations for lights and bulbs you can use. It's nice to be able to save some money on decorations! If you recall, when Alice decorated for a party, she used roses and lots of twinkling lights. So, first on your party decorating list is...Twinkle Lights. I love the white ones, but you can also be bold and use red or black if you can find them. Using red and black is a very dramatic decorating scheme.

Red and Black Decorations For Your Twilight Party

You can get decorating ideas for your Edward and Bella Party right off the Twilight book covers...Twilight- This book has hands holding an apple against a black background. The second novel in the Saga, New Moon, has a Parrot Tulip in red and white. The third novel in the Saga, Eclipse, has a piece of red satin ribbon against a black background. The final Novel in the Saga, Breaking Dawn, has a white Chess Queen and a red Pawn against a black background. So it looks like the color scheme should be red, black and white. What an intense backdrop this color scheme will create for your party.

Take all the decorating ideas you can from Stephanie Meyers' Saga. Think about a black table cloth with some white or red dishes. Make up silverware setting like you see in some restaurants. Wrap each place setting in a white napkin and secure it by tying a red satin ribbon around it. Try filling some glass cylinders with roses or see if you can order some red and white Parrot tulips from your local florist. Fill wine glasses (or some other small glass) with spray roses. These small roses are very delicate looking and open very nicely. I'm sure Alice Cullen would approve.

Use the Twilight Books as Decorations

The book covers are ideal to use as Twilight party decorations. Lay copies of them around the party room. After all, this party is based on what's in them, and they do have those great covers. Use red satin ribbons, apples and even chess pieces to set the mood of the party. Do you have any red and black Christmas balls? Put them into a glass cylinder. They will look really great with the Twinkle Lights.

Imagine what an interesting and intimate feeling your party will have. Twinkle lights, red and black and of course, the Twilight Soundtrack music playing in the background. If you can, clear part of the room to make a dance floor and keep the music low so people can hear each other!

Party Food Time!

Get Pizza or serve sandwiches. I like to plan easy party menus. Of course, if you like to cook or cater...go for it. There are several food ideas you can take right from Twilight ....Bella made some quesadillas for Charlie, there's the Fish Fry Billie Black brought and there are always Bella's mushroom ravioli. Red Drinks are easy enough to find...fruit punch, or use a mix of red juice and seltzer to make a red punch.

Keep your party desserts simple. My favorite dessert idea is Vampire Cupcakes. Sweet Cake with white icing and two red puncture marks on top. They are easy to make and taste great. They look really nice. Any red, black or white combination will work well. These novels give us so many great party ideas and decorating ideas...your Twilight party is sure to be a hit.

Have Some Fun Party Games and Trivia Questions!

You know enough about Edward, Bella and the rest of the characters to come up with some interesting Twilight party trivia questions. Have a couple of your friends put their heads together to come up with some good ones too.

Cast of Characters:

The Vampires:
Edward Cullen
Doctor Carlisle Cullen
Esme Cullen
Alice Cullen
Jasper Hale
Rosalie Hale
Emmett Cullen

The Humans:
Bella Swan
Charlie Swan
Jacob Black
Billie Black
Renee
Jessica
Angela
Mike
Eric

Have You Read the Twilight Saga Yet?

No?? I love the story. It tells us about Edward Cullen, a hundred year old vampire, and Bella Swan, a 17 year old high school student, who meet and feel an instant attraction to each other.

For Bella, this is a dangerous situation though she doesn't realize that at first. Edward is more attracted to Bella's human scent than he has ever been. He wants to drink her blood and it's a stronger attraction than he has ever had to fight before. They still find a way to be together...though, while Bella is human, this will never be easy. There are four books in the Saga and I read them in less than two weeks. I didn't think I would be so dazzled by these books...but I was!
Once you read the story and fall in love with the characters, like so many others have, you won't be able to wait to have your Twilight party!

Twilight Party Ideas - One Way to Celebrate Your Birthday

Using Twilight as a way to celebrate your birthday has become quite a popular event. I wonder how many Halloween parties it's going to inspire!

Your birthday is around the corner and you still haven't come up with a theme for the party. You're out of ideas and you start to panic- what should you do? Well, while everybody else has notions of princesses and fairies as their themes, why don't you try something different and more interesting? Think Twilight Party Ideas.

The Twilight book saga has been sensational so you know that parties based on these are going to be surefire hits. If you want your party to be memorable, then you should have a Twilight-themed party. How to get started? It's quite simple.

Let's begin with the basics- make your own party invitations. Cut thick papers into 5 inch by 5 inch squares. Blood red papers would be nice. Download an eerie picture of any Twilight scene you like (you can find these in the net). Glue one picture for each paper and attach a small black ribbon on top. Put the party details at the back of the paper in black ink.

Now let's talk about decorations. Naturally, it should match the atmosphere depicted in the movie. Something dark, with lots of twinkle lights to make it enchanting would be great. Alice Cullen always planned the parties in the book saga, and Alice went crazy with twinkle lights!

Prepare a black satin table cloth. If you can't find black, use red. Set the table. Make sure to put juicy red apples on top of each plate. Jelly Apples would work too. Put some red food coloring in melted butter and pour it on top of freshly popped pop corn. That will help the popcorn to look a little vampy.

Place some candles on the table. If you can get hold of an antique-looking table candle set, it would surely make the whole set up more suitable for the occasion. Put posters of Edward and Bella, the Cullens, and other vampires on the walls of the party area.

Get some party music going! Play some eerie music. Classics such as Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor and Brahms Piano Quintet in G minor are quintessential spooky music. Too dark for you? Then use the music soundtrack from the Twilight movie!

Naturally, no party is complete without a party punch. To make it more attuned to the theme, you should prepare a red party punch. All you need are: 2 cups apple juice, 4 cups cranberry juice, and 1.5L lime beverage...I use whichever one I find in the grocery store freezer. Mix them all together and put some ice just before serving.

Now you are ready for an unforgettable Twilight-themed birthday party! Since the DVD was just released for sale, why not have a movie viewing for your guests. Play some trivia games and you can make up a Jeopardy game easily with the help of one or more of the books. I have been dazzled by Edward and am a big fan of the Twilight Saga and movies, I would enjoy watching the movie with my friends and I am sure your friends would enjoy it too.

The Twilight Saga is Full of Unique Twilight Party Ideas

Are you planning a party based on the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer? With the books selling over 40 million copies in over 37 countries, Twilight party ideas are going to be very hot this year. Why not start planning your Twilight Party right now.

Twilight Party Invitations

Can you write using Calligraphy? If so, you can copy the lovely font, Carmilla, and write out your invitations in script that looks like Edward's handwriting. Use antique looking paper and take your party guests back to 1918...Edward's era. Use Twilight Clip Art you can find online to decorate your invitations. Add all the important party info , such as:

Who
What
Where
When
RSVP

Get those mailed right out, and now it's on to other party planning chores.

Twilight Party Decorations

Life size stand ups of Bella and Edward can be purchased online if you'd like to have these two love birds at your party. Imagine the look on everyone's face as they walk into your party and see Edward and Bella! What a great start to your party decorating! These life size cut outs also come with James, Laurent and Victoria...the nomadic vampires, who cause all the trouble in Twilight. Can't afford the cut outs? Or don't want to spend that much money on party decorations? Find pictures of Bella, Edward, Alice, Jasper and the rest of the Twilight Cast in magazines. Cut out the pages and put the pics into photo frames. Scatter them around your party room as though they are the people who live there.

Since the Cullen Family are vegetarians...which means, in vampire talk, that they only drink the blood of animals, your party's decor doesn't have to be the same old bloody, scary Count Dracula Vampire Halloween style decor that we are used to. The Cullen's are a refined family with style, grace and taste.

Many of the party supplies you can use for a Twilight party might be things you already have. How nice will it be able to use decorating items you have and not have to buy more!

Alice Would Use Twinkle Lights

If you remember anything about the parties Alice decorated for, it was all roses and thousands of twinkling lights. So, there's your first party decorating tip... twinkle lights . You can get them in white, or you can be daring and bold with red and black ones. Red and black is a pretty daring decorating statement. Very dramatic. You can use the ideas on the Twilight Saga book covers...Twilight-An apple (red and black), New Moon-A red and white Parrot Tulip (red, white and black), Eclipse-A red satin ribbon against a black background (red and black), and Breaking Dawn- a white Chess piece, the Queen symbolizing Bella, against the black background (white and black). All of these color schemes will work to create a very intense background for your Twilight Saga Party.

Use a Black Table Cloth with white or red dishes. Use white linen napkins and wrap each place setting of silverware in them. Tie them with a red satin ribbon. Place a glass vase on the center of the table and fill it with red and white Parrot tulips... or the roses Alice likes so much.

The Twilight Saga As Decorations

Scatter several copies of the Twilight books around the room. You can use the book covers themselves as decorations. You can set a dish of apples on a table, and have some white chess pieces on the tables around the room. Lay some red satin ribbons on those tables too. You can fill glass cylinders with some shiny Christmas balls. Fill one with black balls, and the other with red.

Twinkle lights will let you keep your regular lights on low and create an intimate feeling. Play the Twilight Sound track and clear an area so those who want to dance can. Keep the music low, so conversations can be heard!

Trivia Games Made From The Twilight Saga

If you are like me, you know all the books of the Saga backwards and forwards. Then you don't have to look for Twilight party games...you can make your own. Just think of all the most interesting facts about the books and characters that you can. Write it down, followed by the answer. An example is: Who turned Jasper? The answer is: Maria. Or where was Alice waiting for Jasper? The diner in Philadelphia. I am amazed by Alice this week, that's why these trivia questions are about her and Jazz. I am always dazzled by Edward. Where did Edward take Bella on their honeymoon? The answer is : Isle Esme. See how easy it is to make your own trivia game!

Twilight Party Music Ideas The Soundtrack to the Twilight Movie of course! You can buy the soundtrack, or you can download some of the songs for free. Try a site like Rhapsody.com. You can also play albums of the groups on the soundtrack. The tunes and groups include:

1. Supermassive Black Hole ~Muse

2. Decode ~Paramore

3. Full Moon ~The Black Ghosts

4. Leave Out All The Rest ~Linkin Park

5. Spotlight [Twilight Mix] ~Mutemath

6. Go All The Way [Into the Twilight]

7. Tremble For My Beloved ~Collective Soul

8. I Caught Myself ~Paramore

9. Eyes On Fire ~Blue Foundation

10. Never Think ~Rob Pattinson

11. Flightless Bird, American Mouth ~Iron & Wine

12. Bella's Lullaby ~Carter Burwell

Twilight Party Food Thoughts

Now what to serve as a party menu for a Twilight Party? I am not a cooking kind of girl, so I always try to go for the easiest party foods out there. I like Pizza and Subs...or a lunch meat tray and rolls. But if you're looking for some sophisticated vampire party menu...I'll give you one. How about:

A red soup...tomato, mushroom ravioli served with some grilled chicken breasts in red sauce. Not bad for a chick who doesn't cook much! Tasty Cullen Punch and Vampire Cupcakes A drink idea is a red punch, call it

Cullen Punch and serve it in a crystal punch bowl of course. Desserts are easier for me...Vampire cupcakes. Red velvet cupcakes with white icing...with two tiny red puncture marks on each one. These are very nice looking...not gory at all. The Cullen Coven would like them!As you can see, these suggestions can help you plan a sophisticated party and a dramatic decorating scheme when you use Twilight Saga Party Ideas.

Need Help With Twilight Party Ideas?

Do you need Twilight Party Ideas? Whether you are planning a Twilight party for your Birthday, for Halloween or for a Movie Review, there are plenty of fun ideas to make it the best!

The color scheme is easy...red and black. Throw in splashes of white to brighten your room up and include some twinkle lights. If you remember, in the books, every party that Alice Cullen planned had tons of twinkle lights. Using apples, chess pieces, red satin ribbon and lots of sparkles will make your party room look like one of the Saga book covers. You can use the book covers as additional decorations and you can frame some pictures of the movie cast in character, so it looks like they live there. Find a company that will make you an edible image for your party cake and use it to decorate your cake.

A Birthday party is such a special occasion for the Birthday girl or guy. The celebration of another year passing, and another year to look forward to, with a gathering of friends who care is one of the best nights of the year. Plus you will probably get some birthday presents! Yeah! Now, that's always fun. If you are having a Twilight theme I'm sure you are just like me and talk Twilight nonstop. Hope everyone is smart enough to figure out what kind of gifts you want! There are so many different ideas: The books, the movie, the soundtrack and of course, there is always some Cullen Crest jewelry, any of which would be the perfect birthday present!

The Twilight Halloween party ideas are probably the most fun. Halloween is perfect for a vampire party, even if those vampires happen to be vegetarians. Invite some of the Vultori to come if you are looking for some gorier guests than the Cullen Clan. Stephanie Meyer has given us a multitude of costume ideas with the book characters. You can go as Bella, Alice or Jane! There are also loads of couples costume and group costume ideas. Go as the entire Cullen family or as the Italian, red eyed Vultori. Don't forget the nomads, Laurent, James and Victoria for a scarier vampire look. Use crest name tags, perhaps written in Edward's beautiful handwriting, so everyone knows exactly who you are. The name of the font Edward uses is Camilla and can be found on different sites online.

A Movie Review party is the ideal way to watch the movie as soon as it is released on DVD! Invite your friends over for a casual movie viewing. You don't have to go crazy with a party menu since Movie Night parties are usually a pizza and popcorn deal. You can put some red food coloring in your melted butter if you feel like making some theme colored popcorn. Of course, if you want to serve a more involved menu, go ahead...I'm sure no one will complain if there is lots of delicious food and desserts waiting for them!

An easy vampire themed cupcake idea is ...vampire cupcakes. You can use any color cake mix, though red velvet does look great, with some white icing. Using a red gel decorating tube you make two small puncture marks, close together so it looks like a vampire bite mark. Leave a little red trail when you pull the gel tube out. These are so easy to make and really look perfect...without being gory! Perfect for a gathering with a clan as sophisticated as the Cullens.

Any party needs some fun party games...so make up some trivia questions...they are perfect for this theme. There is so much information in the novels you can use, and it's all so easy to find. Just look in the book. Or check out New Moon, Eclipse or Breaking Dawn for some more difficult, but good questions and answers to try and stump your guests with. Which ever party theme you ultimately decide on, you are sure to have a fun party when you use the Twilight Movie or Books as your theme. Create an atmosphere of fun with your vampire romance theme and use everything Stephanie has given us in the books to ensure your party is a success!

Halloween and Twilight Party Ideas

Find all the Twilight Halloween Costume Ideas you need and get some great Twilight Party Ideas too. It's easy to think of many costume ideas from the Stephanie Meyer's best selling Twilight Saga books. These four books chronicle the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. Since Bella is human and Edward is a Vampire, you can understand why their relationship has more ups and downs than that of the average dating couple.

Bella has to learn to accept and believe what Edward is...a Vampire. Now that has to be quite a challenge for your average teenage girl. Bella soon understands how utterly in love with Edward she is, and also learns that he feels the same way about her. Now that they have that understanding, they have to work on all the other problems in their relationship. You know, killer Vampire, Werewolves and then there's the Volturi who want to see Bella turned...or dead. Bella also has to try and figure out how to tell her parents that she is dating a Vampire and will soon become one herself. You can understand how frustrating the young couples challenges really are.

There are plenty of costume ideas...You could do a couples costume. Take your pick of your favorite Twilight couple. Edward and Bella, Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, Carlisle and Esme, James and Victoria are just a few of the Vampire selections (except Bella of course). You could opt for becoming Jane and Alex or Caius and Marcus too. Then there are the Quileute characters...Billy Black or his son Jacob, Sam and Emily or Seth and that's only the beginning. The Forks town folks are other costume options for you to think about. The Volturi give at least a dozen more choices.

Costumes are pretty easy to make yourself. There is Bella in her everyday wear, Bella going to Prom or Bella with a broken leg. Edward always looks like himself...perfect. The Wolves might be a bit of a challenge, but there's plenty of help at your local costume store if you need it. The Volturi are probably among the easiest...just get a black robe. And some FX lenses in red if that fits your budget.

The Cullen Vampires glitter like diamonds in the sun, so some shimmering, pale foundation is a must. Bella, too, is pale skinned. The Quileutes are darker skinned, so you should look at darker foundation shades if you want to go in costume as one of them.

Alice has pixie like hair and Rosalie has long, flowing blonde locks...so depending on your hair style or what wig you can find, you can go as one of them. Whichever character you choose...I'll bet you have a great time at your Halloween costume party.

Make sure to ask friends to help out with the decorating or party planning details. Plan some fun game ...Saga Trivia or Jeopardy are always fun. Bobbing for Apples can get messy, but it is a very funny game to watch or to play. Twilight Charades or Name that Tune are also lots of fun, so add them to the games to play list

Food is easy...appetizers and desserts are always the most popular party recipes to use. Blood red punch made with cranberry juice seems fitting for a room full of partying blood suckers. Red Velvet cake might keep your guests minds off the "real stuff" for the time being. Red food ideas just seem natural when your party guests are mostly Vampires. But what about the Werewolves? Get them some chicken wings and make some dog bone cookies for dessert.

Twilight - For Movie, Halloween and Birthday Party Ideas

The Timing is Perfect for Twilight Party Ideas.

With the movie DVD being released soon and with all of us dazzled fans waiting for news about New Moon...the second book in the Saga and the next movie to be made, this is going to be a very popular party theme. The Saga was written by Stephanie Meyer and it has four books in it. The third book is Eclipse and the fourth...and final book is Breaking Dawn. The story covers a couple years in the lives of Edward Cullen...a Vampire, and Bella Swan...his human soul mate. Not only is this Vampire romance Saga a really good read, it gives us lots of reasons to have a Twilight Party!

How Good a Story is It?

I've been in a Twilight Fog since I read the books. I picked the first one up and a week later I put the final novel down, still wishing there were more to read! I think about Edward and Bella most of the time, and every day I have a new favorite character because they are all so likeable! Yes, even Rosalie! It takes awhile, but fans even warm up to Rosalie once they hear her story.

Party Ideas?

Yes, there are so many parties you can use a Twilight party ideas with. The first one that comes to mind is a Movie Party. Since the movie is being released on DVD in March you can be the first one to have a party. Just get some red soda and put some red butter on your popcorn...and maybe drizzle some melted chocolate on it too..and you are set. Movie parties don't require too much prep since the theme is the movie. You can order pizza, serve some drinks and a dessert if you like, it's an easy party to host.

Halloween Parties are Perfect for Twilight Party Ideas...with the whole Vampire thing going on. Why not have a Vampire theme Halloween Bash or A Couples Costume Party? Invite your friends to come dressed as any kind of Vampire or as a famous Vampire Couple. Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, Carlisle and Esme, and of course, Edward and Bella. But there are more couple ideas to think about. The Volturi Vamps from Italy are great for your gory minded friends, you know, the ones who like human blood sucking versions of Vampires, rather than the mild, animal blood drinking ones.

The Volturi couples costumes can use Jane and Alec, Felix and Demetri, Heidi and Aro, or Marcus and Caius as inspirations. Or the Volturi would make a great group costume idea and so would The Cullen Clan. How about going as the human residents of Forks? The werewolves are another couples costume idea. Go as Jacob and Leah or Sam and Emily. Breaking Dawn gives us loads of couple Vampire costume ideas...you remember all the friends of the Cullen's we were introduced in the final book of the Saga. If you are really into vicious Vampires there's always James and Victoria. There are Life Size stand up cut outs of Bella, Edward, James, Victoria and Laurent to use as decorations that will make an impression. In fact, they might freak some of your party guests out! Twinkle lights have to be part of the decorations or Alice will be so disappointed! Alice, the Cullen Family party planner, just loves to use twinkle lights at all her parties.

Birthdays are Another Great Reason to Use Twilight Party Ideas.

You know your tween or teenager, the one that has read the entire Saga, will just love this party theme and so will all their friends. You can even plan 16th birthday parties around Twilight. There are some very different color schemes you can use. Decorations can use the black and red book covers, or go light with lots of flowers and twinkle lights, like Bella and Edward's wedding reception. Vampires used to be dark and evil, but after reading about the Cullen's you can go with light and bright colors too.

Whatever party theme you use make sure to include some fun games when you're planning your party. Movie parties can always fit in a trivia contest. Make your questions about the movie and the characters. Birthday and Halloween parties can use trivia too...but there's other games you can include like: Twilight Charades, Outburst, A Vampire Dress Up Relay Race, and of course with Halloween, the Costume Contest! Whatever the reason for using Twilight party ideas, you and your friends are sure to have a good time!

Check out http://www.partyideasparade.com for all your party supplies and party ideas! Twilight Halloween Party Ideas

This dusk on October 31 why not host a Twilight Halloween Party! Ideas are so easy to come up with because Halloween and Twilight Party Ideas are perfect together...just like Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. (Do you know another word for "Dusk"?)
Come this October, with everyone awaiting the release of The Twilight Saga's sequel movie, New Moon...this is going to be a very popular Halloween party theme! There are plenty of great party ideas right in the Stephanie Meyer Book Saga for you to incorporate into your celebration...whatever it is for. This Vampire and Human romance movie and book sensation have created a whole new party theme genre. The characters have become Halloween costumes, the meals in the books and movie have become popular...everything about Twilight from cast to characters and A to Z has taken the unsuspecting Tweens and Teens by storm. A Twilight Storm.
I'm sure, by now, most Tween and Teen aged kids have read at least the first of this four book saga. And if they haven't, I'm sure the Halloween Twilight Party Invitation you make and send them will spark their interest in doing just that. They will have to read the books to find a proper costume for this Costume party you are planning. Make sure to write on the invites that it is a Costume wearing get together...this way most of your guests will be sure to dress up as a Cullen, A Volturi, a Forks native or a Quileute. Maybe you will even have a Cullen car costume or two! Make sure you have a costume contest, with prizes for the most inventive costume, the best costume and the silliest costume. Give the winners a Jelly Apple or a Golden Onion!
If anyone asks for a costume idea you can tell them anyone of the Cullen's, Bella, the Volturi, the Quileutes, Werewolves and just simple, everyday people of Forks are all perfect costume ideas. Eric, Mike, Jessica and Angela went surfing in the movie, so give someone a wet suit and surf board costume idea. The more off the wall a costume is, the funnier and more imaginative it is. Have fun with this great party theme...you have so much material in the four books and the movie to use.
Bella's Apple Party Favor Idea
You can find inexpensive Twilight bookmarks to use as party favors or give each of your party guests a red Jelly Apple, they are easy to make, and are the perfect fruit to use as a focal point of your party.
Twilight Party Decorations
If you can, get a Vampire cardboard stand up decoration of James, or Laurent or Victoria and hide it in a place where it can "startle" your guests. Some place they will go, but won't be expecting a Nomadic, Blood Lusting Vampire to be. You can also take pictures of everyone with the vicious bloodsuckers. Twinkle lights and Twilight books are all you need to decorate. You can use black and red and white party supplies, you know plates, napkins and cups to set up a buffet table. Put some photos of the Cullen Clan around the room to give it a homey feeling...a vampire home that is. Put magazines with pictures of the movie cast around on tables for a little more mood setting.
Since it is Halloween I would also use some of the regular decorating tricks, like some spider webs, bats, witch fingers and eye ball appetizers. Of course, some Jello hands and there is always the skeleton vegetable tray with dip for some gory, but tasty treats!
Halloween and Twilight Party Game Ideas
My favorite game is Twilight trivia. Let's see who knows more than me...I mean You...about this Vampire Romance by Stephanie Meyer. It's fun to play and it's also fun to make up the questions. Get your best friend, who I am sure is also a little Twilight Crazy, to help you out. You can also take those same questions and answers and turn this little trivia game into a Jeopardy game. Make sure to save the really difficult questions for the daily doubles!
Bingo, Quote the Cullen, or Name that Tune...using none other than songs from the Movie Soundtrack. I can name that tune in three notes...How about a fun game of Charades using the names of the songs from the soundtrack or the characters in the books.
Play some music and be sure to include Stephanie Meyer's favorite group, Muse along with Paramore, Linkin Park and of course, Rob Pattinson in the mix. For you classical music lovers, there is always Debussy, one of Edward's favorites.
Party Food Ideas
I love to have parties, but don't want to work too hard in the kitchen...so I order a lot of pizzas...all different kinds. Be sure to include a mushroom pizza in the mix. Blood red icing on your cupcakes or making the cute, but easy to decorate, Vampire Cupcakes is always a good idea at a Vampire themed party. If you are not using the Jelly Apples for a party favor, put some out on the dessert table for those vegetarian vampires who feel like having something red to curb their blood lust. I even saw little edible cupcake images that you can have printed with the Twilight cast or just Bella and Edward. That's a great idea, isn't it!
Serve a blood red punch with an ice cream floater on top of it and you've got the perfect drink for this party. Use glow ice cubes for a freaky effect or freeze water in rubber gloves (tell everyone just in case there is a latex allergy) and let the frozen hands freak your guests out. I love to do stuff like this! It is little touches like this that your guests will remember and make your party Extra Special!
We see vampires in a new, and a less vicious light thanks to Stephanie Meyer and the Vegetarian Cullen Clan, but it is Halloween and what's a Halloween party without at least one Count Dracula? Not everyone will come in a Cullen or Forks native costume, but it will still make for a fun party, no matter who your guests dress as.
If you own the movie DVD you can play it in the background for music and for your guests viewing pleasure. This is a great party theme no matter if it's for a holiday, movie watching or birthday party. Everyone is sure to get into the fun games and delicious food you've prepared for them and make sure to tell everyone...Happy Halloween from Edward and Bella!

New Moon and Twilight Halloween Party Ideas

I foresee a New Moon and then an Eclipse in your future! Twilight's New Moon is due out in theaters in November...but I bet it's going to cause a huge noise in October! The Eclipse movie is due out in 2010.
You guessed it...New Moon and Twilight Halloween party ideas are going to go through the roof this Halloween season. With all the great costume and party game ideas we can get from the Twilight Saga of course it's going to be a huge dress up costume party theme.
You can have the theme of your Halloween party be The Cullen's, The Volturi, Quileute pack members or any of the Forks residents. Have a Vampire theme Halloween costume party and invite all your friends who are Twilight fans...and even those who aren't. There are so many costume ideas you can get from Stephanie Meyer's Vampire Saga. Dress like Bella Swan going to the prom, or like Alice Cullen at Bella's High School graduation party.
There's also James, Laurent and Victoria to get some fun Halloween costume ideas from. You can be Jane of the Volturi and your boyfriend can be Alex or Caius. Your more inventive car loving friends can come in car costumes. They can get some inspiration from Bella's red truck, Edward's Volvo or even Rosalie's red BMW M3 convertible. Cars can be made out of cardboard boxes and homemade box costumes are not that hard to make.
You can have a make up counter set up and let some of your talented friends become Vampire makeup artists. That will be a great time to take some photographs. Imagine how much fun it will be taking these pics. And they will make for some great photos! Pale shades of makeup, purple eye shadow, shimmery make up will be great accessories at your Vampire make up center. You can also add a little red cake decorating gel in case anyone wants to look like they've just had a little snack.
Make sure to play the movie soundtrack at your party. A little Muse, Linkin Park, Paramore and don't forget Rob Pattinson to get everyone into the Zone. Put out your books with their distinctive colors and hang up some posters of your favorite characters, whether it's Bella, Edward, Jacob or Alice, it will look festive. Twinkle lights and lots of black and red party ware will help you bring the feel of the novels to your party.
You can find and print out some bookmarks to give each of your guests. You can find these bookmarks with pictures of Kristin Stewart, Rob Pattinson, Ashley Greene and of course,Taylor Lautner, online and they're free. They would be just perfect as a party Thank You gift!
Candy Apples would make a great Twilight party favor idea for your Halloween bash, or just have them out as a party treat. Red Punch looks like something Vampires would drink. It is easy to make a batch with some ginger ale and cranberry juice. Put some raisins in your ice cube trays to add a little Halloween fun with your drinks. It will look like a bug in each ice cube. You can also get a rubber glove (make sure it's the non-allergic type) fill it with water and seal the top. Set it upright in the freezer so the water doesn't leak out. When it's frozen, take it out of the glove and you will have an Ice Hand to float in your punch bowl. All your party guests will get a good laugh over that.
Serve easy party food. You can order pizza, it's a great party food idea. It's easy to serve and to eat. Everyone loves Pizza! Have some bowls of salsa and chips, and of course, you will need some cake or cupcakes for dessert. Put an image of Bella and Edward, or the entire Twilight cast right on top of your cake or cupcakes. I'll tell you how in the resource box at the end of this article! It's easy to decorate your own party cake or cupcakes. And it's cheaper to make your own party cake, rather than order one from the bakery.
You can also use your dessert, cupcakes, as a party activity for your friends. Let them design their own Twilight cupcake. You provide the cupcakes and the decorations for them and let your friends use their imaginations to decorate their own. Have a Twilight Cupcake Decorating Contest and give the winner a "Golden Onion" or a shiny "Red Apple" as a game prize.
If you include the Werewolves in your party invitations you could always have a Werewolf Howling Contest. Why not see if some of the Vampires can't give the Quileute Pack some competition in the Wolf howling category.
Twilight Trivia or Jeopardy is a must at this Halloween party based on the Vampire Human love story. Get all your friends to think of the most difficult trivia question they know, before the party. Use their questions during your game...let's see how hard they are to answer! Make sure you have a second Golden Onion to give out as a trivia game prize!
If you can think of any party ideas to add to mine, let me know. I'm always looking for more Twilight Halloween party ideas and I am sure plenty of other Stephanie Meyer fans are looking for them too. Why not share your good party ideas with the rest of us!
